I don’t know who needs to know this, but... if you walk up to someone sweeping and throw coins, they will drop their broom to collect them. Then a new broom magically appears in their hand, while the old one remains on the ground.
They just keep stacking up as you repeat the process. I’m sure there’s some kind of get-rich broom related opportunity here.
Ok, forget everything I said about weird dead bodies in Havana.
What the ever loving fuck is up with Salt Key Bank?
I notice this scared woman and drunk, wonder if the developers put in some kind of creepy domestic violence.
But then there’s something in the corner of my eye. Wtf? Are those dead bodies?
Yup, they’re fukin dead bodies.
Near them are two frightened people kneeling in the water, seeming to beg the waterfall for mercy.
So, I’m intrigued, right? How did all these bodies end up there? I walk around to try and figure it out, and see something moving in the corner of my eye.
Yup, that’s a guy randomly falling to his death.
I moved to a better vantage point, and saw another guy falling.
But more than that, what did I see?
A “frightened” woman was running around pushing people to their deaths.
60 meters long, holds 40 crew, armed to the teeth, but still stunning a graceful. A real Lady.
This is what she looks like from the side.
And this is what her nameplate looks like. You can only see it from her backside but I like hanging from her like this, so it’s ok.
What really makes her special though is her crew.
First, there’s me. I’m the Captain.
I tell everyone what to do, where to go, who to fight. Well... I mean, I make suggestions and then the crew votes, and if they like my suggestions, then we do what I say.
I try to keep everyone happy and entertained so they’ll like me and vote for my suggestions.
Here I am singing to the crew.
And here we are playing charades.
The next most important person on the ship is the Quartermaster. That’s Adéwalé.
He’s great. He’s the one who decides what jobs the crew do on the ship and makes sure everything runs smoothly. He keeps on top of everything and I really don’t know what I would do without him.
Here he is reminding me that I forgot to stock up on ammunition when we were at port - again - and pointing out that we are defenseless until we are resupplied.
Next we have the Helmsman. He’s super important because the ship can’t go anywhere without him.
Found in a most permanent settlements. They are all sweet, friendly, and will often follow you for a bit if you’re nice. Comes in several different coats.
Cats:
Found in larger settlements like Nassau, Havana, and Kingston. The cats are sweet and friendly, and often found on rooftops. Comes in many different coats.
Parrots:
Found in most settlements, usually by the Harbour Master or General Store. Sits in a cage and will dance when fed. I’ve only seen red parrots in my game.
Chickens:
Found in various settlements, often hidden away near the back. There are sometimes an NPC nearby, feeding them. I’ve only seen them with this one colour.
Pigs:
Pigs are sweet and become very happy when you feed them. I found several pigs in Havana. At Torres plantation, at the market, and at the docks. They come in (piggy)pink and a darker brownish pink.
Cow:
I think there are cows in Kingston, but I’m not sure. I have focused all my love and attention on the single cow found on Ile a Vache - Cow Island. It’s brown, sweet, and loves backrubs.
Goats:
This last pettable animal is mine and Edwards favourite. They love him and he loves them back. (Reminds him of the sheep of his childhood, see?) They are curious, happy to be fed, and love to follow Edward and stare at him. Found at Salt Key Bank.
I love wandering around Havana, looking at what the NPCs are up to.
Thank you to the game developers for giving me so much to do while refusing to further the painful plot.
