@cajunmmb They don’t have a brick and mortar store. You can get hand pies at the Horse Farm on Saturdays. You can order whole pies through their social media accounts (Facebook & Instagram through private message), and they will bring them to the Horse Farm on Saturdays for pick up. That’s my next thing. To order a whole pie. The key to the magic of these pies is the crust. They describe it as a butter crust. It is the flakiest and most divine that I’ve ever had. It pairs equally well with savory and sweet. If you are #teampie like me, you definitely want to give it a try. See? Obsessed.

I am officially obsessed with the hand pies from Acadian Slice. To the left we have a Ponchatoula Pop Tart (strawberry with a pistachio topping) and a The Krewe (cream cheese with a glaze and colored sugar). Hello, lovers.

At the Market at the Horse Farm, there's a vendor, Acadian Slice, who makes sweet and savory hand pies and whole pies. I've been wanting to try them for a while. I finally got to pick some up today. The one in front that's cut in half is the Boudin Vert (local boudin mixed with basil Parmesan pesto). The two in the back are sweet- the Krewe (cinnamon cream cheese) and OG Apple (tart apples & cinnamon oat crumble). The Boudin Vert is fantastic! I had no idea those flavors complimented each other so well. Can't wait to try the sweet ones!
