Accidentally Awesome Alliteration
And yes, this title is included in this post.
Last fall, I wrote a paper about religion and myth and Paradise Lost and a retelling of Beauty and the Beast called Cruel Beauty. The paper was titled “Magic, Myth and Milton: or, Alliteration is Fun” (the subtitle was dropped but gave me giggles while writing it)
I’m writing another Beauty and the Beast paper about gender roles for another English class. It’s titled “Brave Beauty and the Begging Beast”
I went to write my paper about how Charlie Chaplin’s tramp character has endured through the ages and titled it “The Timeless Tramp”
I swear I don’t try to alliterate. It just happens.
