it’s weirdly peaceful, how pretty the night sky looked when it full of stars and constellations, the light buzzing from car horns and people's voices filtered up way high. the campus was usually noisy on weekend nights, nayeon had grown used to it, which was why finding peace up high on her dorm's roof had become something of a habit, camera strung securely around her neck to keep it safe. once or twice a week, she’d find herself up there, snapping pictures and capturing moments when things were especially clear— she just never expected company.
“oh!” she exclaims, body jolting slightly as his frame came into view, almost as still as everything else. he almost didn’t look real. “s-sorry, you just startled me. i usually don’t find other people up here when i am too.”
