Well, I mean, that’s not always a bad thing, Ibuki-chan. Did you sleep well?
Well, yeah? But now that it’s actually sleep time, Ibuki’s wide awake and shit and can’t actually go to bed! That’s the consequence of too-long naps!!

Leaves had already began to fall around campus, producing only the hues of brown, gold and orange to blanket the greenery that once held it's vibrance. Even the uniforms of Hope's Peak blended in with the new, prominent colours that coated the playground, forcing anyone to look twice on first glance of a classroom peer.
Violet orbs scanned the area for a certain bob of fiery red, glancing at each new person that filled the leaf-scattered quad briefly. It almost seemed fruitless until she finally looked behind herself, finding that indescribably and unmistakably red, accented by green hues to confirm that she was indeed the person she was looking for.
"Excuse me, Koizumi-senpai. Is it alright if I ask for your assistance in something? I know it's not common for me to do so, but I feel as though you'd be the best the best person to inquire about this topic..."

Perhaps.
Hey, Miss Tanabata.

The marriage ceremony was a traditional one, held in a shrine at the cool, lavender dawn of spring--he'd insisted, far more than he likely needed to, and she'd nursed no particular objections, knowing that to likely be the case. The attendance, as it ought to be, was small--Natsu, Pekoyama, Mahiru's parents, Hinata (intermittently dubbed the Unreliable), the shrine maiden, and he and Mahiru themselves.
It went quickly.
Whether that was because he was focused less on the ceremony and more on her, because he wasn't as good at handling sake as he thought, or maybe, indeed, because the ceremony really was short, he wasn't sure. The fact remained that it felt as though he'd only just knelt by the time she'd relaced her fingers with his own--but more a ring; more her vows; more their blessing.
There wasn't a procession leaving--indeed, the opposite was the case arriving--and that was a blessing all its own. That left a glimpse of a moment for him to catch the attention of his fiancée--no, his wife--and catch her lips in a brief kiss, another first; another pass that seemed insignificant and yet meant everything.

It's still really really funny.
Can you see me, Mahiru. Come look. Come here, darling. I am rolling my eyes at you so hard.
