About your character’s Pokémon partner, and if they don’t have one why not?: A sweet-tempered Sylveon named Merryweather.

Tell me all about your character and their life! Margot has lived in Ryme City all her life with her younger brother Benji and her mother. She has been a soft-spoken introvert her whole life and spent the majority of her growing up with her head in novels. Her younger brother is her best friend and they would spend a lot of time together learning about Pokemon. She used to think that she would like to study Pokemon when she grew up, but learned that she loved books more than almost anything else. Despite that, she still loves to learn all about Pokemon. Margot’s mother got her an Eevee in hopes that getting her a Pokemon would help her come out of her shell a little bit and make some friends. Merryweather helped her feel more relaxed and less anxious in social situations, and this desire to keep her calm caused the Eevee to eventually evolve into Sylveon. 

Margot bought BookWurmple with help from her family and is able to make a living from her love of books. Merryweather also helps add to the relaxing atmosphere of the book shop and the difference of inside here from the busy streets of Ryme City. The walls are bookshelves crammed with all manner of books of every size, color, language, and subject. One can pluck a book off a shelf, relax in a couch chair, and read. Margot is able to stay within the comfort of her own walls, read, pet Merryweather, and help others find the books they need. 

She lives her days working at her book shop, reading, and hanging out in her apartment above the shop. She doesn’t have many friends, but she knows her usual clients by name and enjoys their company but doesn’t really spend time recreationally with any of them. She would like to, but is a little bit too nervous to broach the client/store owner barrier.
