🌀 - Do they have a recurring dream or nightmare ?
Yes. He does. There's quite a few that haunt him. They range from his 'fight' with the drago, to being the masked man, to the death of his mother, to even the haziest flashes of being trapped in the chimera labs (he can never remember the lab nightmares, but he's always left with the emotions upon waking).
However...the one nightmare that haunts him the most often, is the confrontation with Lucas before the final needle.
Attacking his brother without mercy, Lucas not even fighting back, gravely wounding their father, it's the nightmare he most often sees when he closes his eyes. And as an offshoot of it, he has nightmares where he wins. Where his worst fears are realized, in that he's killed his own twin.
☂️ - do they crave touch or fear it ?
Both.... The answer is both.
Claus craves touch, he's real touch starved in all honesty. He wants to be hugged and held and feel safe like he once did as a little kid. His family had always been real affectionate too. So now after 3 years of being treated as an inhuman weapon, he misses touch so so much. Doesn't help he can't really feel with his robotic limbs and his sense of touch in his left hand is kinda numbed.
At the same time though, he's scared. Given what he's lived through, he is afraid of the touch of others, being hurt and shies away people. Especially if he doesn’t know them well. He also really hates being grabbed or pushed or dragged around, especially if he’s not expecting it. It’s a sure-fire way to get him into a state of panic.
You'll know Claus really trusts you if he's willing to initiate a hug or even hold your hand.
