I ask myself why my legs are sore in the mornings as though I was not tossing and turning and also nearly kicking a ~40lb bag of clothes off my bed
So I was planning on working out today seeing as I have the day off and my stepdad last minute took me sailing. Let me tell you all now, if you've ever dragged a yacht up a beach at low tide you will know you do not need a workout afterwards. The pair of us were sweating, legs burning, we had to stop twice to breathe.
Funny Story
Yesterday it was my end of year ball and our dance teacher was gonna DJ for us in full drag (because he's a drag artist) ANYWAY at the beginning fo the night he told us he was gonna play a game with us which was: -
He was gonna shout 'slutdrop' at random times in a song and ofcourse everyone in the room had to slutdrop, ofcourse being a dance teacher he thought it'd be funny to shout this A LOT and at the time I didn't feel it
BUT OH MY GOD MY THIGHS ARE KILLING ME TODAY, should I call it an accidental work out? It feels like an intense workout..
Who knew that slut-drops actually helped you!? hahaha
"Accidental work outs"
You do not always have to go to the gym for a work out. Yesterday I did weeding for my workout probably 2 - 3 hrs (not sure how many just know how bloody burnt i am coz i didn't apply sunblock to my back) and it worked out my legs and arms pretty good.
Let me just say our garden is not like most. We bought our house 3 years ago and ever since our garden beds have had the strange ability to completely fill up with weeds within a month which is the whole reason we are yet to use them to grow fruit/veggies no matter how much we want to (we are afraid these mutant weeds will strangle them). In the 2 - 3 hrs I weeded 3 of the 5.5 garden beds we have that range from 3 - 6 meters in length and my god my legs were quivering by the end.
I woke up this morning and my shoulders legs and upper arms ache. Not as much as when I do a really good weight session but enough to know it worked.
I NOW have a recommendation for people who still live with their parents that complain about 1. Lack of money 2. lack of ability to exercise.
Do the yard work. Work out an agreement with your parents for a sum of cash for each chore depending on the chore and do the bloody yard work. Mow the lawns (not a ride on mower) actually if the lawn is small use a push/pull mower (the ones without a engine at all) I used to love them when i was a kid! Do some weeding, plant plants, heck even cleaning inside the house burns calories. I am sure your parents will be so grateful you did it and if you really want to go around your neighbourhood and find others you can do the yard work for.
Day 9
Well I was aiming to go to the gym and do arms but ended up running out of time with house work and yard duties (Sunday last day of the weekend). But we did manage to do our weekly spa and sauna session. My partner is leveling and landscaping our front yard which is coming off fantastically and when we got home I helped him transport rocks from the bottom level to the top for a while... Which I guess got my biceps working so not all lost on the arm side of things :D.
Then we had to go out for Malaysian for my partners mums bday. I ordered a dish that was mainly bok choy & ended up eating it all >.< I was pretty hungry and have to admit I did not feel bloated afterwards so am unsure if this is beneficial. Was thinking about it last night and though I pretty much ate the equivalent to 2 baby bok choys and a tiny bit of scollop & prawn the amount of oil in that sauce was probably terrible (i however did not eat a lot of the sauce) and I probably only ate 4 scoops of boiled rice if that (rice spoon thing).
Now its day 9 and monday and though I would usually have monday as a rest because I am catching a bus to work the bus to school (and the hours) is not that bad so I am going to do arms & chest. Day 10 is RPM & Legs ... wooo can't wait haha.
