Husk was absolutely right, even in his idea of who had Alastor's soul bound to them, but also very wrong on why. The knowledge that he had managed to continue to hide the full truth from the observant feline was one of the few reasons that his retaliation at the reminder remained merely a psychological show of force, rather than an actual physical reaction from his owner lashing out in anger.

Every word Jimin spoke was carefully wrung out of him, as he felt the noose of his father’s unsaid demands tightening around him. One thing spoken out of turn, a single misstep, and his father would be all over him, swooping down like a hungry vulture. His interaction with Jinyoung had Jimin keeping his guard up, for the way that Jinyoung had gloated and taunted Jimin, nothing about it seemed to indicate anything that Jimin should be happy about.
“Nonsense, Jimin,” boomed his father, “Of course the event of your upcoming nuptials should be one to celebrate.”

He squinted through an alcohol-induced haze, were the strippers wearing strips of gold and white cloth that could not really pass for gowns and looked more like loincloths, supposed to be Artemis’s huntresses? Though his memory was slow to provide him with information at the moment, he felt almost certain that Artemis was a virgin goddess. Could things be sacrilegious if they were pagan? No that was a stupid question, thought Hoseok groaning.

I started writing a little over a year ago, November 2016. This is kind of an insane statistic for me to have. Even crazier I have another 70K in stories yet to be published. I just wanted to take a moment and reflect on this and feel proud of myself.
