If Maka was known for one thing , it was she took her studies seriously as an important priority. Doing her work and coming into class prepared was one of her many talents that many envied. Although this time was not the case , which left Tsubaki in a very shocked position.
It was a late hour , 12 a.m. if she remembered correctly , the knocking on the front door having her rush to assistance rather than memorize exactly whatever time the clock pointed to. By the sounds of Maka’s explanation of her losing her school bag during a mission of some sort , it was obvious that she was frantic and in worry of falling behind in class , despite her fighting a kishin on her way home ( But Maka , isn’t that we’re mainly taught to do ? ).
Keeping in mind that her academics were of high value to her , the weapon did not mind at all lending the meister her own book. She had already attempted the homework material on her own , and honestly did not understand a few bits of it herself. It confused her and frustrated her a bit , so maybe some time apart from the book wasn’t such a bad idea.
❝ If it comes down to it and Professor Stein is suspicious , I’ll just say I lost my copy ! ❞ Pulling out the rather large textbook out from her desk drawer , letting out a slight ‘ oof ‘ due to it’s weight. ( It’s like holding a brick house in my hands ! Very uncalled for .. ) , she thought.
