April somehow ended up being my highest word count month of the year (so far??), even though I clearly had a slump in the middle of it. Not only that, I continued my streak of writing something every day this year, and I wrote at least 100 words every day in April. 

With that being said, I’m still behind overall, and it would take a miracle for me to finish writing and editing my Kink Bingo fics by the end of May. I am going to finish them though! And it’s hard for me to be too upset when I feel like I’m making more writing progress than I have in years.

Onward.

Luckie’s January Writing Update

Somehow I managed to write at least 57 words on every day in January. Once I realized that I had that streak going, I refused to let it break. It’s still in tact as of today. We’ll see how long it lasts. It can’t be all year... or can it??? (It can’t.)

My most prolific day was January 20, when I cranked out over 1,100 words during a long layover at an airport. Unfortunately, I can’t recreate that situation on a regular basis. I’m excited to start posting some of this, starting with my gift for the Bitty’s Valentine’s exchange!

February got off to a slow start overall, but I really picked it up at the end of the month and far exceeded my 10K goal, so I’m happy about that! I wrote over 1,000 words on three separate occasions, including back to back on February 14 and 15. I also wrote at least 100 words every day. (Even if I had to scrape for it a little bit on the last one.) 

...and I’ve still written something every day in 2019?? How long can the streak go???

Although I didn’t meet the goal of drafting a fic in February, that first draft is at least 90% done, so I should be able to finish it in March and stay on track.

An Excerpt:

After Jack unveils the cake at Tater’s party — to general appreciation and a hearty belly laugh from Tater — Shitty pulls him aside. “Brah, is there something you want to tell me?” he asks, face serious behind his mustache.

“About what?” Jack hedges.

“About why you keep buying erotic cakes.”
