They are currently looking for an accounting assistant manager who will be in charge of managing one junior accountant and performing the accounting legal reporting of the bank. The bank plans to promote the assistant manager to a manager position in one year.The ideal candidate will have a very good level in English and experience in accounting in Luxembourg and in financial reporting. YOUR ROLE: * Management of one junior accountant. * Validation of balance sheet for Luxembourg authorities, edit financial statements. * Prepare balance sheet for mother company's consolidated accounts. * Submit internal ad-hoc reporting to management. * Prepare and publish legal reports to BCL and CSSF. * Liaise with internal auditors and external auditors. * Follow-up reconciliations. * Monitor CSSF's publications to report regulatory changes to management and update internal procedures. * Enforce the compliance program designed by the Chief Compliance Officer. * Share on Compliance issues with other branches and subsidiaries during quarterly conferences. * Communicate with third parties on some compliance matters (AML, customer due diligence). * Cooperate with IT department on IT-related risk management (Business Continuity Planning and DRP). * Conduct internal inspections on other services for the proper application of internal procedures. * Security control: monitor staff system access, proper segregation of duties and 4-eye principle. * Internal training to staff: Anti-Money-Laundering, Information Security. * Implement and set up with IT department new tools for legal reporting (Explore and Plexus FAS).
