Always make sure when you are having your clubs regripped that the shop that is doing the work checks the swing weight balance of your irons before they start and adjusts the set to the correct swing weight balance with your new grips.

The biggest problems we find is when a customer wants to switch to Midsize which are typically 8-10 grams which would reduce the swing weight balance approximately 2 points. Correcting the swing weight balance by adding tungsten powder can also soften the flex of the shaft so what we suggest to our customers is to go with standard size grips and build them up to midsize which causes less problems for swing weight balance issues

Always speak to the golf club technician that is doing the work and make sure the swing weight balance is corrected so you have a matching set of clubs!
