      “ it’s almost time, you know. xehanort is preparing the final vessel. and once this keyblade war is done and over, the lost masters will return. ”  the two of them are probably hanging out in the world that never was -- away from where anyone would spy on them.  “ can’t wait to get my keyblade back, let me tell ya. ”  it’s been a long time, after all. and the return of his keyblade marks the success of his mission, his role completed.

      Out of pure instinct when the stranger’s hand went for his head Sora tensed up. Already in the process of raising both arms up to block he paused at the gentle pat. Then another. And one last time. Her hand retreated after the final touch and Sora allowed himself to relax.

      Yeesh, he stressed himself out over a simple pat on the head? How sad.

      “Uh, d’you do this to everyone you meet?” An awkward chuckle accompanied the question, lifting one hand to ghost over his spikes. “’Cause normally I jus’ say hello.”

       The ANDROID’S near intolerable presence was only CATALYSED by the sweet-sung statement, tone GRATING to sovereign ears. If the POOLING SCARLET did not make the fact glaringly OBVIOUS, Yozora was also keeled over, singular hand CLASPED over his abdomen, futile in WANING the ever-flowing ichor from a GAPING WOUND. 

       ❛  What does it look like?  ❜  Yozora ( quite rightfully ) snarled, MALICE no less sharp than the SEARING PAIN shooting through torn flesh. The BLADE of his departed assailant lay DECREPIT. Rusted. No doubt, his wound was INFECTED. Not that he expected any SYMPATHY from his newfound stalker.  

       ❛  I couldn’t care less why you’re following me. ❜  Heaving himself to his feet, he did not SPARE the spectacled robot a glance. Instead, he OFFERED her profanity.

          BLADE EXTENDS WITH a raised limb, though does not shift from its spot; ever so delicately lingering at accord’s neck. (it’s a game of cat & mouse that these two play; though the prey seems to slip through zero’s fingers – like the sand next to her rundown shack – each and every time they meet.) she bears but an expression of neutrality as the single word exits the other’s lips, her weapon finally shifting from where it’d made a home.

          ❝ did i not tell you to leave me alone, ❞ she says it simply – more as a statement than as the inquiry to which it should have been posed – stepping forward to face the girl in full. their gaze meets in quiet stare for bit a moment, before zero brushes past her entirely, heading straight for the door. ❝ i don’t have time for this crap right now. go get yourself off with that damn book somewhere else. ❞
