oh he's all but drooling, teeth digging into his lower lip as eyes the size of saucers remain fixated on a decadent slice of marble cheesecake. vague memories from childhood nag at the back of his mind, of birthdays where he was treated like a little prince even if it was only for that night's dessert and nothing else. he hasn't been able to afford a decent slice of proper cheesecake at all since he's come to korea, though he has lingered in restaurant fronts when he sees it on their menu. 

cassidy looks to jihun, still unsure despite the surging desire to just devour his offered half tugging at his insides. 

" you bought it for yourself, didn't you? i don't wanna just eat it. "

late nights with jihun have become a semi-regular occurrence, one that cassidy can't help but look forward to. spending time with another is lovely, especially in the wee hours of the morning when most people are asleep. he feels less alone during these times together, less like he's truly fending for himself. 

a movie hums in the background, the pair entangled together on cassidy's flimsy bed. and empty bowl of popcorn lay off to the side, tipped over with a few leftover kernels spilling out. cassidy himself is nearing the depths of slumber, face buried against the god, as he listens to whatever over-dramatic scene is going on in the background.

 knowing well and good that he'll only be awake for a couple minutes longer at the most, the younger finally lifts his head to slur out a muffled "goodnight". 

 right before properly conking out though, cassidy leans up enough to press a kiss to the crown of jihun's head. a gesture that he always found soothing before he slept and a feeling he wishes to provide the other. once satisfied with his goodnights, the boy all but slumps back onto the mattress, face burying in the sheets to find sleep properly.

               for the last few minutes, zhiwen’s been feeling like he’s being followed. usually those feelings are right, but no matter how many times he glances over his shoulder tonight, no one seems to be there. which just makes him even warier. being chased by someone that can’t be seen just points to that demonic side of his heritage. another glance is cast over his shoulder, and survival instincts kick in. he turns abruptly into the first public building he spots, not stopping to look at what exactly it is.

 it's unfortunate that cassidy is such a night owl, unable to wake up before 1pm. with a shift at the restaurant usually starting around 4 and then a few hours working his second job, free time isn't available until well into the night. 

it's a bit of a lonely schedule to live on, but jihun has kept him company a few times since they've become proper friends. even now, with a meandering trip to the corner store for something to eat and perhaps a few snacks to hoard. 

while seoul itself is not necessarily a dangerous city, by the time 2 or 3am crawls around, even the safest streets are a risk for passersby. this is something cassidy has learned, especially living in an unsavory neighborhood though his personal experiences are few. it's why he's so surprised when the pair of them are haggled by three large men, alcohol all but seeping off their clothes as they loom forward. 

anxiety climbs in the young man's throat but before he can say anything a familiar silhouette wedges itself between him and the group. 

" jihun... " cassidy's voice is a low whisper, one hand coming up to tug on the hem of the elder's shirt. " jihun, lets.. lets go into the store. they— won't try anything in there. "

you’ve been around for awhile and even tho we lost contact a couple times you’re still always a joy to talk to. i love your writing and the diversity of your muses. Your creativity knows no bounds and i’m honestly so fuckin jealous.

things really weren't expected to go this far. it was supposed to be coffee and a conversation, maybe an exchange of ( proper ) numbers to keep in touch. cassidy never imagined the pair would spend a whole afternoon marathoning animated movies. is he complaining? 

absolutely not. 

they're sprawled out on cassidy's cramped livingroom floor, all of his blankets spread out and the two pillows he owns smushed beneath them. Meanwhile the old television on the soap box plays an old pixar movie, though cassidy doesn't recall the name. eventually he needs to find his phone to text his boss that he isn't working the phone tonight. rolling onto his hands and knees, he stretches out above jihun to snag his phone— only to squawk in surprise at the lightest press of lips to his stomach. flopping back onto his rear once he grabbed his phone, he tugs his shirt down and laughs a little at the other. 

" you scared me, i thought you fell asleep! "

Caramel, fruity scents are something she absolutely adores. Her favourite perfume is Armani Si Intense

Lenses, but rarely. Mostly colored ones, on a special event.

She hates when people talk a way too loud, are chronically late, complain a way too much and are negative about many things in life; but foremost someone being busy with their phone while she is talking with them. it’s game over.
