First Hunt

Melonie sighed as she looked over her work. She'd been studying up on what she thought may be a case nearby, and had started doing research on the possible monster it could be. Her and Dean had been planning on going on a hunt for a while now, so she thought this would be the perfect time to check one out. Looking around her room, she noticed that her roommate had fallen asleep. She didn't want to wake her so she silently shut down and closed her lap top, and packed it away with the rest of her things. She'd already told Quinn that she wouldn't be around, possibly for a couple days, but she'd be back. Since Quinn was practically a hippie at heart, she didn't even question what she was doing, just nodded and got back to doing yoga or whatever it was she'd been doing at the time.

Once she had everything she thought she'd need, including the knife that killed demons tucked in her waistband, she grabbed her car keys and headed to the student parking lot. She quickly started the car and made her way to where Dean was staying, taking out her research so that it was ready to be shown to him. She couldn't help but let a small smile make its way onto her face at the idea that she was going on her first hunt. It was thrilling, knowing that she'd be able to stop a monster from hurting other people. She finally got to his place and turned the car off, getting out and making her way to the front door of the building. She took her phone out and called him, letting him know she was there.
