Monologuing for beginners...
Bela knew when he entered the room, and she felt the exact moment the Devil's Trap was broken. She hated the fact that she couldn't break out of it herself, but she was still new at this and knew it would take time to build up her...skills. She didn't acknowledge his prescene but she did allow herself a tiny smirk as the force holding her back was dropped...
It was a wonderful feeling, this power coursing through her veins. Of course, it was nothing like she felt in Asheville, but then that was Lucifer's power, not hers. She was just borrowing it... This belonged to her, and while it was not as strong as his, it was hers... and she could do with it what she liked... it was hers to control...
The thought made her smile and she couldn't contain it any longer. She flicked her wrist ever so slightly, just to test... and ended up pinning all three of the humans against the wall. She chuckled. She could get used to this...
Bela took one step out of the broken Devil's Trap, just to reinforce the point, and crossed her arms, looking at them with a smirk.
"Now that I have your attention..."
Bela started to pace in front of them. "You see, I know exactly what it is your thinking now... You have a problem, don't you? You are fully aware of the fact that your little Bela is not your little Bela anymore... she's a demon. One who has been turned by Lucifer himself... Dangerous, right? Every instinct you possess is telling you to kill me..."
She stopped, dead centre, and looked at them with a smile. "But you can't, can you? Because there's that part of you that thinks you might be able to save her, your Bela, to bring her back... that you'll be able to get rid of me without killing her..."
Bela started walking again, calm, collected, sarcastic. "But in the mean time, you could have another Asheville on your hands. Swings and roundabouts, eh? Killing me right now would solve that problem... but you can't. Because your weak... you can't admit that she's gone..."
Not quite true, but they didn't need to know that. Bela could still feel their Bela. The other Bela. The one who didn't mind growing soft and being used by her so-called friends and having an angel for a lover. She was still there. At the moment, just a whisper, a shade, still in shock apparantly. But Bela had a feeling that could change...
Bela moved closer to Rae with a smile. "Rae. Another failure you can chalk up. Pretty good going. Soon you'll be in the big leagues with these two..." She gestured to the Winchesters and then frowned... "But maybe not... I think it would take another for years to catch up with the mistakes these two have made..."
She turned to Sam, her smile still present. She loved this... "Sam. Thanks for making that suggestion. 'Embrace your inner demon' and all that. You always were a demon's best friend..." She looked away, as if thinking. "And sometime lover, or so I'm told. Well, sorry to disappoint, but I don't think you're my type..."
She turned to Dean, her smile fading slightly. "You, on the other hand..." Bela slowly moved closer to him, knowing her couldn't move as she placed one hand on his shoulder and the other on his cheek. She whispered in his ear...
"You think you can do it, don't you? That you can kill me. That you won't feel guilty about it, because she told you to do it..." She shrugged slightly. "Maybe that's true but I'll let you know one thing..." She grabbed his chin, forcing him to look at her as she smirked. Her voice grew quieter, but her smirk grew wider... "You'll have to catch me first..."
Bela moved away, eyes never leaving his face. She soon turned to face the others. "Well, I'd love to stay and chat, really I would... but I'm sure I'll be seeing you all soon enough anyway... Oh, and one more thing. Someone tell her little angel boyfriend what's happened. I'd love to do it myself, see the look on his face, but you know, that's kinda what get us into this mess in the first place..." She shrugged sarcastically again...
She grinned and turned away from them. She closed her eyes and took a deep breathe, trying to control her excitement. Every nerve tingled. She could do whatever she wanted. She could become ever stronger, ever more powerful... the sensation was overwhelming...
Bela opened her eyes and looked over to where Lucifer stood in the corner. She smiled.
