Ok so I recently started watching bleach and honestly the whole time I was watching I got really strong asexual vibes from Ichigo. Am I the only one? I'm only on episode 25 so maybe I'm wrong but he's literally surrounded by super pretty people and he just??? doesn't care??? at all??? And I am here for that!!

just some ichihime headcanons. (my headcanons btw, don’t attack me if you disagree)

ace ichigo and pan orihime

ichigo “i don’t get attracted to ppl, am i not normal?” kurosaki

orihime and too many beautiful ppl, help her

but in the end she loves ichigo only

when they started dating, ichigo is nervous cause??? he thinks he’s not normal???

orihime notices this and they finally had a talk

“i don’t feel any attraction toward ppl and have no sexual desires???” ichigo says, worried and anxious

“oh you must be ace!” orihime says

“a what now”

orihime explaining all about sexualities and how she’s pan herself -- she knows all about this bc she did research

ichigo feels relieved because it is normal, thank god

but then suddenly he’s worried again bc since he has no sexual desires wouldn’t orihime be...dissatisfied with him???

orihime reassures him; “relationship doesn’t revolve around sex--i love you and that’s why i want to be with you.” 

ichigo actually cries because he thought he was a freak all his life and now he knows he’s not, and there’s a person who is embracing every piece of him and he just hugs orihime

orihime returns the embrace, feeling her own tears

they cuddle that night

they talked whenever one of them was consumed by insecurities

they shared a very healthy relationship

orihime was ready to endure all of her sexual desires for ichigo

ichigo would do it if it means to satisfy orihime

now some nsfw headcanons

orihime usually leads bc she is more experienced

ichigo has a praise kink!

he melts every time orihime praises him

“you’re doing amazing” “you feel so good” “do you feel good?” etc

their first time was them being beat red

but ichigo was more...nervous so orihime quickly took the lead and reassured her boyfriend with gentle kisses

how come ichigo can't be asexual while still accepting how bleach ended? (unless u seen him as sex repulsed too or s/t then >.< ok) i actually liked having a headcanon for him as aro ace too. but if it's just asexual than i think that can still work into canon pretty well? idk, i know not every asexual feels the same on certain things so... this is pretty interesting?:)

I actually think that ace Ichigo goes really well with the ending, actually. I never entirely saw him as aro (but that’s probably because I’m a deeply romantic person, myself.)  But I agree, whichever way, I think canon supports either view and probably dozens of others (even sex-repulsed, because just because the baby has the Kurosaki last name and looks doesn’t mean anything. There are things called surrogates and sperm donors.  I’m a married lesbian and our child was born to my wife and a [in our case an anonymous] sperm donor and has my last name. And my son looks exactly like me and my family and we technically share no DNA.  Nurture is actually a very strong force; stronger than you think. But a sex-repulsed ace Ichigo could totally donate his own sperm to Orihime.)  

Look, if I’m disappointed in the ending in terms of ships, it’s because I’m queer and married and, I’m sorry, but marriage is not the end of adventure.  It does not put a bow on a story about a war with an ancient enemy (–unless you married Ichigo to the queen of the Quincy, I don’t even see how there’s been plot resolution AT ALL.)
