ACE Donghun Bestfriend AU
I am so excited for this because Donghun is one of my favorite people
This dude would be such a strange friend to have
Like one minute he would be hugging and doting on you, and the next he would be flaming you for no reason
You can never get a break with this dude
Idk why, but I can imagine him spamming you on snapchat every morning when picking out what he wants to wear
He’ll send you like five different outfits asking which one you think is the best
But in the end he never picks out what you recommend as if your fashion sense is some type of curse
But when it comes to you needing help and advice when shopping, he is a really good buddy because he will give it to you straight
Like, one day you are picking out a pink dress for a wedding you are going to attend, and when you walk out of the dressing room he announces with a deadpan face that “you look like a flamingo”
What he doesn’t is that there is another girl at the register checking out the same exact dress
Donghun has mentioned that he enjoys watching romantic movies alone, but often he will call you crying, saying that you need to watch the movie now so the two of you can talk about it
Anytime you see a cute video or hear a good song you will share it with him and he does the same
You also will buy little things in the store that make you think of each other like a funny mug or a t-shirt
When you do hang out, the two of you enjoy walking around and finding cute little places to eat
You will occasionally go shopping and watch movies, but the two of you really enjoy talking
Donghun is a pretty affectionate friend when he isn’t roasting you, especially if you are younger than him
He likes to rustle your hair, lean on your shoulder, and poke your cheeks
While you act like this annoys you, in reality you think it’s endearing and you know he’s just trying to get your attention
However, if you do something to annoy him or arrive late to a meeting you scheduled, he will never let it go
If you accidentally stand him up or cancel plans last minute he will hold it over your head forever saying things like “I would ask you to hang out, but you seem to busy to be my friend now, was this a joke all along to you, does this friendship mean any-”
“Donghun it’s been two years since I accidentally stood you up”
“See, you hate me don’t you”
But even with his over dramatic ass, he is a really great friend if you are going through a hard time
If you go through a break up, or anything that causes you to go through a rough spot he won’t attack you with a ton of questions like a lot of other people do
He will probably just make sure you aren’t alone, maybe giving you a few more hugs if you need them
If you need to vent he will listen, but will call you out if you are saying unrealistic things like “no one loves me” or “I’m not worth anything” because he hates it when you beat up yourself
He’ll encourage you to cry, saying that it is really healthy and helps get emotions out
And after listening to a few sad songs, you’ll finally let it out, and he will sit with you and pat your head as you cry into his lap
I feel like the two of you are also great wingmen for each other
You are always introducing friends to each other and trying to set up dates
And then when you agree to meet up with one of his friends, Donghun will be all smiles as he warns the guy that if he hurts you, he is dead
