Ace discourse is a joke, honestly it's a troll fest against ace people: A letter for young aces everywhere.
Dear young asexuals,
The truth is, you as an ace feels angry for being under duress for being asexual. You wanna show up by using reverse snobbism. It doesn't work. I feel that, I understand. I gotta tell ya young one, you can't win & argue against people who hate your existence, just the fact that you are ace is the reason they hate you. All the emotional and mental abuse they're giving you due to your asexuality is unexceptable. They don't think it is emotional abuse, but abuse is abuse. Abusers never think of their abusive actions & words as abuse.
The world is full of assholes. There places full of emotionally and mentally abusive people. You already know that. The people who are so proud to shut you down because of your aceness is just an asshole, they can be abusive too. Most of them are. They'll troll you and taunt you with all the things that they know will rev you the fuck up so you can lower yourself to that negative bullshit.
DO NOT REACT, RESPOND. You can't change their horrible views or their terrible behaviors, but you can learn something. You realize that they're just a horrible human being & realize that we DO need our own safe space. We need to create that. Our own a-spec safe space where you can go to escape the abuse and the hate. It's not gonna create itself. We gotta do that for ourselves and for the future generation of a-spec people.
That's the big picture goal: Create a safe space for our community . The joke that is the ace discourse, is small fry. That's just bullshit & hate from terrible people. Be strong though because they want to rev you up, lol they do that as a hobby. It's sad tbh that people will waste time & energy to go into an asexual & a-spec space just to flame our community. It's sad and pathetic, really.
Just think about that. You realize how much of a joke these people are and what they're doing. You do you, because they might hate you but just remember that you got us. We've all been there. People are gonna hate, that's life. Don't lower yourself by saying or doing the same kind of hate that they are putting out. Accept that your aceness is okay and no real life or internet troll can tell you otherwise.
