hi! could i request headcanons or uh reactions for the main five and V when their s/o comes out as ace? thank you :) love your blog!!!!
Yoosung: It’s possible he thinks he’s done something wrong at first or that it has something to do with him when they tell him they aren’t sexually attracted to him. When they specify that they’re not sexually attracted to anyone, because they’re ace, he feels a little relieve. He’s most likely new to the concept, but doesn’t really mind. As long as he can be with his s/o and the two of them being happy as a couple, it’s fine. Sex is not a necessity to him to prove how much he loves them and he doesn’t need it as reassurance to know they love him.
Zen: I feel like out of all the R.F.A members, it could be most scary to come out as ace to Zen, because he seems so flirty and cheeky. In reality though, he is very accepting of his s/o regardless. Similar to Yoosung, to him it doesn’t matter how exactly they express their love for each other, as long as they do in some way. If sex isn’t the way for them, that’s fine. He would never be disappointed in it or lose interest in them. Zen might strike some as a fuckboy, but he’s not just all about physical interactions. When he cares about someone, he cares about them, whether they sleep with each other or not is off topic.
Jaehee: She’s the most intrigued of all of the R.F.A members. She’s interested in what exactly it means, she wants to be educated and she wants to learn as much as she can so she can support her s/o. Of course she’ll only ask them questions that are in their range of comfort and will seek for further information online, if they aren’t ready to open up to her. She is very understanding that coming out can be scary and has absolutely no intention of rushing things. To her, sex isn’t the most important thing in a relationship. She much rather likes to work on them functioning with basic interactions and showing care for each other.
Jumin: Now, I don’t know if this is popular, but I headcanon Jumin to be somewhere on the ace spectrum nevertheless. It could very well be that he already knows what it means, but in case he’s new to the concept, he’s not averse at all. Maybe he even resonates with his s/o and learns something about himself to as they explain to him what it means to be asexual. There’s more to a relationship than intercourse and Jumin really doesn’t mind it at all. He’s the most chill about them coming out to him, very neutral and not planning to shower them in questions. He just accepts it and is willing to learn about it slowly.
707: Luciel probably knows about the term asexual already, so they don’t have to explain much. The only thing he wants to know is what it really means for his s/o, as many asexuals experience different things within the ace community itself. He knows that some are comfortable with sex regardless and that there’s asexuals who are repulsed by it. He doesn’t expect any particular answer, he just wants to know so he can fully support them. Any time someone from the R.F.A would make a remark about them as a couple, he’d scold them off with a chain mail meme. (If the others know about it as well, there’s obviously no reason to).
V: Just like the others, he is supportive of his s/o at all time. He wants his s/o to feel comfortable around him and wants them to know that they can talk to him about everything and anything. He wants them to trust him deeply, so they don’t have to be afraid of coming out to him. He might be a bit surprised, but not shocked or taking the news negatively. Instead, he really wants to know what he can do to support them.
