Voodoo - Ace Monroe
Great sound out of Nashville. Worth a listen.
I'm not sure if this will be of interest to anyone, but if you like bands like The Black Crowes, Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones, and Led Zeppelin, you NEED to check out Ace Monroe!! They've definitely got the 70s vibes going on! They've got two albums out, "Shelter in Place" and "Ace Monroe."
Some of my personal favorite tracks are "Gospel," "The Hangman," "Hell Bound," "Voodoo," "Jaded," "Lightning," "Burnin'," and "Don't Mind."
You really should check them out.
Do you think 80s rockstars will ever happen again
HELL YEAH!!!.. I really hope so.
I mean, if enough bands and people start making music that sound 80s again. I’ve heard of a few bands that’s trying to bring back the 80s rock scene though such as ACE MONROE and FOXY VENUS!!
If u like 80s rock I definitely recommend listening to ‘BAD NEWS’ by Ace and ‘HOT TO THE TOUCH’ by Foxy!!
Go support em!! xx💋
AND BRING BACK 80S ROCKSTARS!!!

Biography
At a young age, when the night was as fresh and crisp as ever, Ethan had been abandoned and left to fend for himself against the cruel elements around him. Of course, the idea itself wasn’t as bad as one would suspect, as his species offered him advantages most humans could only dream of. In fact, it was a human family who happened upon him and ultimately took him in under their wing. They weren’t well-off, but rather struggled for money as the bills poured in and the work came slow. The family themselves were made up of mechanics and engineers. Not the best at their trade, but they were honest workers for what they did. Unfortunately, they had little to show for it at the end of the day.
Eventually, Ethan was also taught their trade. They treated him as if he were their own. The signs of him being a demon not obvious for the most part. Regardless, they taught him the basics of using tools and how to fix things, his skill towards the idea almost coming naturally. As if second nature. It was his small outbursts of electrical power that would otherwise give off the fact that he wasn’t human, surges of a power that was almost unheard of would confuse anyone. Though they kept it secret, regardless, and continued to treat Ethan as a human child.
It was as he got older he truly began to excel at what he did. The older he got, the less he seemed to properly age, in comparison to those who surrounded them. They seemed less able to care for him, or themselves for that matter, as the years passed. It was something that almost confused the demon. Though he continued to draw in money for them, the work of their family business seemingly only done by him, eventually. The years passed with leaden wings it seemed, and those who raised him were quickly coming to the end of their lives. While they had warned him of this, there was a slight hint of denial that came with their reminders, until it was too late to pass it off, of course. When they had passed, he had taken to vowing he would continue their name in the form of continuing their work.
It didn’t take long before the business itself was expending, as more forms of mechanics and engineering were coming to form. Soon enough, making a living out of this line of work was becoming a reality, as more people sought it out for all sorts of reasons. Though he held a protectiveness towards the name, employees were made up of people he could trust entirely, and he trained them all to the best of his ability. Even then, the time seemed to pass quickly. Almost too quickly. Those he called friends were dying around him or blatantly leaving. Eventually he had taken to doing the same thing. Fortunately for him, and the amount of time that had passed, all sorts of vehicles were being produced. Among them, his favorite form had been created. Something he could repair and build while wearing a blindfold. Thus, he took to simply riding around Australia with the simplicity of a Motorcycle and the clothes on his back.
With his abrupt departure from the place he had once called home, he also changed his name. Ace Monroe seemed far more suitable than the more mundane name he had previous held. It was a start to something new, in his own mind, as it signified a chance to start over without the drawbacks of attachment. He hopped between towns and cities with the simple intent of earning freelance money and partaking in anything that took his mind off of things. It was during his mindless wandering that he was quickly coming to learn that confrontation was a common thing between humans, as he’d been dragged into countless fights, only to emerge as the victor. Things like that had a habit of feeding his ego, though it also proved his inability to cage anger.
During one of his fights among other bikers outside a rundown bar, he had managed to piss off practically everyone in the vicinity, rendering him surrounded by a bunch of angry assholes. Of course, the more the fighting continued, the angrier he became, which in turn resulted in a sudden and violent outburst of surging electricity. The shocks were so potent, a number of men had suffered fatal wounds, thus proving to him that lingering around humans so freely wasn’t the best of ideas. Instead of sticking around to see what happened next, he quickly hopped on his bike and rode as far as he could before the fuel in his tank had been dried. Upon coming to a sudden stop, he was met by a stranger giving word of a Cirque made for people like him. He was sure to take up the offer and make his way to his new home.
As with everyone, he took the job as it came. It was easy money, and the crowds fed his ego. He was free, in his own mind. Though it was all stolen seemingly over night as the Cirque was taken from them at the hands of a group of butchers, commonly known as Hunters. Of course, sticking around to fight, as tempting as it sounded, wasn’t an option for too long, regardless of him staying to take a few out. They had to run from their cruel grasp, to make their way to somewhere much safer. Word of mouth lead him to a sanctuary known as Castor. There came hesitation, as he didn’t join the other members of the Cirque straight away. Instead, he took several days to clear his mind, to just wander and think. Jumping into something so soon was his downfall on numerous occasions, though there didn’t seem to be any better choice. Thus, he made his way to live in Castor.
Since arriving at the Immortal Strip, Ace had chosen to apply his honed skills to his current job, thus becoming an engineer. This way he was able to clear his mind through partaking in something he loved, while making use of himself in the only way he knew how. For a while, he was withdrawn, more distant than he’d ever been. Though gradually, he’s taken to opening himself up once more, returning to his old antics and daring interests. The hustle and bustle of the city called him more than anything, the lights and sounds drew him to living among the never-resting commercial buildings that littered Highton.
Personality Traits
Positive: Charming, Adventurous, Daring, Friendly.
Negative: Quick-Tempered, Irresponsible, Cocky, Secretive.
Connections
Zeke: There’s a certain friendliness about Zeke that has Ace entirely too intrigued. He feels he can be himself around the were-creature. Jokes and suggestions come naturally to him, as he feels the other can relate much more than others would care to. While he doesn’t trust him entirely, yet, there’s still a large amount of respect he feels around Zeke.
Sinclair: The two get along well, through vulgar jokes, times spent drinking, and sarcasm. Having worked alongside each other closely, Ace has developed a strong amount of trust towards the Lust Demon. Perhaps there’s even a desire to get to know the other more deeply through actual conversation, something he typically isn’t fond of doing to just anyone.
Cole: Ace holds a very strong like towards Cole, as he finds himself easily amused by the man, as well as strangely flattered on some occasions. Upon first meeting, there was a sense of being able to trust Cole, and he’s done just that since. It’s this same trust that has brought a sense of protection to him, a need to make sure the other is in one piece, or at least simply smiling.
Adah: There’s a kindness about Adah that one cannot overlook, and Ace has been drawn to it since he had been made privy to it. Deny as he might, he feels safe around the Angel, and finds that he’d do anything to provide safety in return. Even helping her with mundane and trivial things is fulfilling to him.
