Hey a while ago I sent an ask about ace solangelo headcanons (and it's fine if you haven't gotten to it yet) and I'm just imagining Cecil or someone finding them passed out in the hades cabin because they were stupid and stayed up late playing board games and then later that morning, chiron approaches them and is like "I have thought about it and I don't want you two in the same room alone" and they're like "why? I know we stay up late, but that's pretty harsh" and then everyone's confused

Great minds think alike my dude because I hadn’t even read this ask yet when I wrote nearly this exact same thing into my headcanons!!!

Ace nico and will headcanon??

I’m so here for this you have no idea

So I don’t think either of them would realize it for a while

toa doesn’t exist in my universe, so it’s at least a year or so post-BoO before they get together, and probably another few months after that before they start like, realizing, talking about it

It’s not something like, either of them thinks about?? How are you supposed to realize you’re not feeling something lmao

It happens when someone makes a joke about how often they hang out ~alone~ in the Hades cabin

It kinda goes over Nico’s head and he gets defensive. Yeah that’s his cabin, you got a problem with Hades kids??

It takes a sec but then it clicks for Will, what they were implying, and he turns beet red

Will drags Nico away before he snaps at whoever made the comment and explains like “uh, Nico, they were talking about... you know”

And Nico is just like “??? what eew why would they think of that???”

Will: idk I guess people just think about that a lot / Nico: the do?????

Sidenote: Nico is very much the “wtf is a sexual attraction” ace ok

After that Nico starts noticing it more and it kinda starts to bug him??

Why do other people feel this way and why doesn’t he?? Why is he always the weird one out??

He takes comfort in the fact that Will’s kinda in the same boat as him

Will, being a medical professional (or as professional as a 16/17ish year old boy can be) does some research and comes across asexuality rather quickly, and that just kinda clicks everything into place

He explains it all to Nico and it takes a day or two for him to wrap his head around it, but then it’s like a huge weight is off his shoulders

He doesn’t admit it (but Will probably knows) but he cries a bit because there’s a word for it and a community and he’s not alone and he’s not weird

Nico ends up IDing as ace, Will’s a little more nebulous, he’s not exactly sure where he is on the spectrum so he usually goes by grayace

Nico’s still touch averse (that’s more of a him think than an ace thing, but they’re not entirely independent) but if he’s very comfortable with someone, he’s more touchy

Most of his and Will’s dates consist of reading comic books and playing video games tbh

He and Will don’t actually kiss until a couple months into their relationship!! Their first was before they figured out they’re aspec, but afterwards, when they’re both a little more comfortable/confident in themselves, they kiss more often

Mostly cheek kisses though, because Will thinks they’re sweet

They don’t really prefer PDA but sometimes they’ll hold hands

Will, being aspec, biromantic, and a son of Apollo is literally the most obnoxious human being on EARTH because of all the puns. Good god, some days Nico’s the only person who can stand him and it’s only because he think’s they’re hilarious

Nico is such a dweeb wtf I love him

Nico really loves the ace flag (it’s totally his color scheme) and flies one proudly in front of the Hades cabin

Unpopular opinion: I’ve always considered Nico to be an on the asexual spectrum and gay, because Ive always related to how he seemed touch averse. I’m grayace and bi and honestly grayace gay Nico is still how I think of him, because although I think he feels romantic attraction rather often, I don’t think he feels sexual attraction as often or as strongly. I think he could also be demi; he may be sexually attracted to Will at some point, but generally is more romantically attracted than sexually

I know people are probably gonna come @ me because “he’s a minor he can’t be ace uwu” which is bullshit for like a million different reasons I’m not gonna go into rn (I’m happy to answer polite inquiries tho btw) but yeah. As an ace person, I can definitely see some similarities between how he describes his crushes/how he deals with them and how I did at his age/still do so yeah I’m 100% on board with this :D

Opinions on a demisexual Nico? I saw it in someone's list of head canons and its seems certainly possible.

As someone who identifies as demi, I really agree to this. It fits his character so well. That’s why after my initial anger of Rick never using the word gay, I realized this opens a whole new way to analyze Nico. He already is one to not open up to people, so it only makes for him to have the deep emotional bonds before any relationshipy stuff can happen…. 

Yeah I have a lot of feelings about demisexual Nico I’m just not super articulate about them.
