I stumbled over your fic Tick Tock today and i'm not sure if you intended to write Tech as an asexual Omega or not, but Tech is my favorite character and I am ace and it made me feel so seen.

It was very touching to see something a/b/o that doesn't necessarily involve sex and focuses on the comfort so thank you 🥺

Oh I'm so glad it connected with you!! ! I was going for ace Tech here! I know there's a whole umbrella for asexuality but in this Tech is probably leaning towards Aceflux/Demi because he really doesn't have much attraction for anyone. Especially when he's not familiar with them. Though when he's in heat he's a bit more open to the idea of sex because of that connection he's craving from all the hormones. (Hunter was really his only experience with sex and Tech decided it wasn't for him and even after no one has really interested him) . Mayday is quick to tell him that it's perfectly fine to not be sexually active while still getting his needs met ❤️(he'll have to have a long discussion with Mayday and Crosshair about it when he's more aware)

I usually draw/write Tech more sexual because I enjoy it lol but I think him being ace and rarely interested in others in that capacity is definitely close to canon though!

I don’t know if it’s just me but I don’t really like the aro and/or ace Tech headcanon, to me it feels like it’s always the genius/autist characters that are categorized as aroace and I think both autism and aromantism deserve a more diverse representation.

Im autistic and sometimes I kinda feel like there’s this cliche around us that we’re acting childly and we’re too young mentally to be sexually attracted or something (there’s ace autistic people ofc but Yk what I mean)

To me it’s really nice to see such a great autistic representation finding love like this without it being some kind of big struggle or whatever so Phee and Tech are really my comfort ship

(If it’s your hc don’t feel pressured or whatever I’m just sharing my thoughts on why I don’t like it that much)

Edit: I forgot to said that also the “I have project way more interesting than a romantic relationship” feels either like a lack of character development or a shield the character uses to protect themselves against something new, not obviously Aro ace type of shit
