I’ve always loved the found family trope, but Parental Roy (and Riza) with the Elric brothers is just even sweeter to me. I think it’s because the relationship is just kind of reluctant on both sides but they’re so similar and it just happens anyway and it’s just unintentional but they work at it so well. I don’t know how to explain it, but I just love them so much. I love the Parental Roy and Parental Riza idea so much that it’s really the only "trope” tag for any of my quotes, solely created just for me to indulge in reading back.
