Second time’s a charm, right? That’s what Emma tried to tell herself, at least. It had been nearly three months since she had been forced to leave the house merely two weeks after her arrival. Family circumstances. Now, two and a half months later, she was back. The actress entered the Valentine’s Day Party, her fingers fidgeting with the embellishments glued to her her pink dress. She wasn’t sure whether it was her nerves or if it was the gown that was hugging her curves just a tad too tight, but it felt like her heart was about to beat out of her chest. She figured entering a house full of fellow celebrities wouldn’t be so frightening the second time around, but it was. Her eyes closely followed the movements of a waiter, her hand automatically reaching for the tray filled with fancy looking Valentine themed cocktails when he passed by. Liquid courage. Three drinks later, Emma dared to manoeuvre herself towards the dancefloor as the speakers blared her favorite song. Drink in hand, she moved along to the beat of the music and mingled in the crowd. “Gosh, I love this song.” Emma said to no one in particular as she sang along, her head bopping to the rhythym of the words. This was when her ankle gave out. She nearly tripped over and made a semi-twirl, spilling half of her drink on the party guest standing behind her. She gasped and the apples of her cheeks heated up so badly the actress could of sworn they perfectly resembled the red heart-shaped candies at the dessert table. “Oh my God, I’m so sorry.”
