omg yes!! your tags on the reblog make so much sense sjnsm thanks
All good.
I have actually been thinking a lot about the line "Hang your head low in the glow of the vending machine, I’m not dying" and how it parallels “When I was shipwrecked, I thought of you. In the cracks of light, I dreamed of you. And it was enough to get me through” because while obviously not confirmed, it felt like that moment at the vending machine could have been one of many memories with Joe she relied on to help her get through the days and remember that there was still good parts of life. So yeah, the meaning of that line has been at the forefront of my mind since Evermore came out.
