He always worried that if Arthur looked at him for too long he’d see past Merlin’s annoyance and practiced disdain and see the way Merlin was desperate to know what he tasted like, what he sounded like while he was being fucked.

“No,” Arthur said finally, stretching out on his bed. “I’m not leaving.”

“Fuck me,” Merlin mumbled, rolling his eyes.
