So we are starting our epic journey back to Nashville. One last selfie with the moose before we board. We had a real adventure the last four months here in Alaska. We really cannot thank our hosts enough for their kindness and hospitality during our stay here. You all made the world of difference to our time here and we take back memories with us that we will cherish. 14” of snow fell overnight on top of the 6” that was already on the ground. It’s due to continue snowing all day here so we’re probably looking at another 8”-10”. The rail on the balcony is flat, by the way. Snow is somehow piling itself up a clear 12” high on it. We’re not leaving Alaska until 9 December, but we need to pack today, as we are shipping the car ahead of us.
