Much like everything else in the comics, America Chavez's age depends on what you're reading. They were about the same age in the young avengers together and that's where the 'flirtation' roots from but again THAT DOESN'T MATTER. She doesn't exist in the MCU (and with them still trying to establish Sam as the new Captain America, I doubt they'll bring her in any time soon anyways). We can only go with what we see and what we see is two losers falling in love on an elevator.

No no she def exists in the MCU now. She's been cast and she's a kid lol. She's in the next one that's coming out. I don't know which one it is but it's 100% canon that America is a teenager in the MCU and that's who they're giving us shit for not shipping Kate with lmao

The only thing I took from that trailer is how they made America a damn child and there were people foaming in the mouth how she was an option for Kate since she was part of the MCU instead of Yelena to ship with, like dude, it ain't that deep and this is weird as hell, also Disney is so rotten I'd rather swallow a shoe then have bishlova being canon

Kate’s always been a little fruity in the comics tbh. But it genuinely is gross what they’ve done with America. She was a very out and proud lesbian in the comics that I and others looked to for good rep. Ageing her down is so insidious because it’s like we all know what they did, but it’s almost impossible to explain it without sounding crazy.
