Side Character Sunday Wednesday
Well, I was going to introduce Kreah’s side characters on Sunday for the sake of aliteration, but couldn’t come up with an alternative for today in time. Without further ado, enjoy some info on the rest of the pantheon!
Eyr is the Kreah of hope. Naturally the most upbeat of the Kreah, she can drive her more pessimistic companions a little nuts. It’s easy for her to lose sight of the now and dismiss pain and frustration because she knows it will pass. It’s unclear whether she masks negative emotions or just doesn’t have any, but either way, when Eyr acts upset, things are really bad.
Fun fact: Eyr absolutely loves sheep. They’re not even her sacred animal, they’re just so gentle and fluffy and good and she loves them dearly.
Fahrai is the Kreah of despair. He’s naturally at odds with Eyr and spends a lot of time quietly contradicting everything she says, while she spends a lot of time trying to shut him up. Fahrai and Eyr are more or less attatched at the hip because they’re each afraid the other will mess everything up if left alone. (They’re probably right.)
Fun fact: These incarnations of Eyr and Fahrai call themselves twins, but Fahrai was (re)born a few years later. A few years doesn’t mean much on the Kreah’s time scale, so they just ran with it.
Achine is the Kreah of water, specifically the river that runs near Trikhar (which is also called achine). She goes her own way and does what she wants regardless of what others think—not in a rebellious way, she’s just oblivious to what others think. Despite that, she’s very kind and helpful, and the other Kreah look to her as a calming presence.
Fun fact: Achine absolutely loves all things sparkly and ordamental, and at any given moment is wearing aproximately too much jewelry.
Garan is the Kreah of the earth and soil and just a really chill dude. He doesn’t tend to have strong opinions, but likes to make himself useful and can be counted on to do what’s asked of him. His strongest emotional drive is his massive crush on Achine (Achine, being oblivious, is the only one who doesn’t know about it). The only times Garan gets really riled ul are when something important to Achine is at stake.
Fun fact: there’s a fair bit of overlap between Garan’s domain and Kayram’s when it comes to farming, and sometimes they answer each other’s prayers when it’s relevant.
Comments and questions are always welcome! Have an excellent rest of your week!
