I’d also totally draw stuff from your story for you someday when its finished or whatever, maybe headcanon stuff too if you have any ^^ (I’m not that great at drawing but I’ll try!!)

!! I’d love that but right now even though I’ve written quite a bit it’s all just kinda a rambling thing in a single document without a set plotline. :’)

as for headcanons, I like to imagine that Zim would be very proud of being in a relationship with Membrane, like in public he’ll hold his hand and point at him all happily like “THAT’S MY BOYFRIEND! ME, ZIM, I’M DATING PROFESSOR MEMBRANE!!”

also in my story Zim took up work at Membrane Labs as part of an Evil Plot but ended up genuinely enjoying the work, especially since Membrane’s around and that’s how he forms such a close relationship with him. eventually Zim learns his mission’s a lie (wow, original) and allows himself to admit he loves Membrane

Meanwhile Dib’s weirded out but mostly just mad that Zim’s using him, he eventually mellows out about it when Zim’s feelings turn genuine. Dib just wants his dad to be happy and if he’s happy with that stupid ex-Invader alien then fine. at least Zim’s not a threat to Earth anymore

I started a PMaZR (Professor Membrane and Zim Romance) fic in my Google Docs, I need to actually flesh it out and start posting it somewhere because I think it’s pretty fun. just gotta figure out a decent plotline and stuff for it because right now it’s just entirely self-indulgence

anyway I think Membrane would be the first human Zim respects on Earth since he’s really tall, not to mention intelligent and passionate about his job, and he treats Zim with respect when he sees him despite how short Zim is and Zim would immediately be like, “Oh no he’s meeting all my standards”

and idk maybe in time Zim would grow to have stronger feelings for him. Plus hitting on him would annoy Dib so that’s a plus. I just really want Zim with a tall handsome bf who will give him the kindness he deserves

tru but I think he could get used to how Clembrane looks. He’d just kinda shrug and say “ah close enough” and go for it

aww Membrane wearing a trench coat would be so cute. When coworkers ask he claims Dib got him to buy it so they would match but

secretly that’s just Membrane’s excuse, he 100% wanted a black leather trench coat for himself
