@acid-seltzer wanted me to smack the banana I saw the other day. I was pretty nervous as it's right in front of a supermarket and while it wasn't peak hours there were still a fair few people around, but I've recorded the experiment below, hope this is more or less what you had in mind

All in all I would say that smacking this banana was very akin to the experience of smacking a banana and not very much like a brick in basically any way

i have an office workers hands. they are soft and boring. I stopped biting my nails since like last year but i still chew the flesh.

lol idk what non-boring hands you're comparing to but this is a nice looking hand imho. congrats on the nail thing, if that's the sort of thing where you're accepting congratses, I'm in a similar thing where I learnt to leave the nails alone but sometimes bothering the skin is just too tempting still. The nail thing is actually one of the super rare times I've decided "I'm gonna stop this habit" and then simply done so forever, I don't know what strange power I tapped into there... anyway ty for the hand!

It's pretty haphazard honestly, I have used my washing machine for the past three days in a row I think but then sometimes I leave it way too long and get myself into unfavourable clothes situations. As with most aspects of my life I don't really use any kind of structured or good approach
