The minute hand moves one more tick, it is 10:34am on a Wednesday morning in June, and Blaine’s plane has just taken off from Columbus International. Kurt Hummel is now officially single. The clock ticks over one more time and two things happen simultaneously. Kurt looks up to see Sebastian Smythe walk through the coffee shop doors, and his phone begins to ring. “So I suppose that makes you the prince with the foot fetish then?” Kurt asks, arching an eyebrow teasingly. “No way,” Sebastian insists, smile maybe a little more severe around the edges, “Like I’d ever be mistaken for the hero.” “Then who pray tell are you supposed to be? Because rodent jokes aside I can’t really see you as one of the sweet little singing mice,” Kurt says, hip-checking Sebastian playfully. “Why I’m the villain of course,” Sebastian returns, voice full of false-offense, “Gosh Kurt, it’s like you don’t know me at all.” {A Change In The Weather, Chapter 15}
