Welcome to Lethe!

It's a fun island with an even more fun story behind it!

With a good few sides to see, like our museum and the ruins overlooking the farm at the back, Lethe is a beautiful little community of entirely normal villagers who have neither secrets to hide nor are they haunted by a past that they cannot explain. Nothing weird at all here!

Everyone is welcome to stay at the campsite and have a look around. Maybe... if you listen to the gyroids closely, if you look around, you'll find out what happened in a village lost to time.

We love all visitors here!

Read the notes on the bulletin board for the full story, visit the villager homes, and once you're ready to leave the looped path around the new village, try and find the one pathway through the whole island. Some ladders are hidden a little, while some obvious paths aren't what they seem.

Send me pictures of your visits if you take any, and ig if you figure out the whole story behind it, I'll give you like a million bells or so XD

SPIN TO WIN GAME AND OTHER ACTIVITIES ON DELFINO!!

As you’ll know if you saw my post yesterday, I’ve been planning to host a spin to win game on my island for a long time now and finally decided to do it! Here are all the details!

Rules of spin to win game 1:

2k bells for each spin of the wheel! Spin a wheel with the numbers 1 - 8 on it, and if it lands on an even number you win a prize! (Please don’t spam the wheel, press it once to spin and then once again to make it stop). Prizes are all wrapped so you can pick one at random. When it’s your turn to play, you can pay for up to 5 spins at a time so you have a good chance of winning. Prizes for this game are all furniture items with a buy price of at least 3k bells, though MANY have a higher buy price!

Rules of spin to win game 2 (win big!):

This game will use a different style of wheel, with a large “lose” area and a much smaller “win” area. 10k bells per spin and again you can ask for up to 5 spins at a time! Prizes for this game will have a buy price of at least 70k bells, though MANY have a higher buy price!

MOST IMPORTANT RULE OF BOTH GAMES:

Okay so this WAS a section about how the wheels will say different things for different people but that must’ve been patched because all the people I’ve had over tonight have been seeing the same numbers!! So uuuuh I guess instead the most important rule will be that if the wheel lands in the middle of 2 numbers on the small game, it’ll be the host’s decision ultimately if it’s a win or lose. And ofc on the off chance that your switch does display something different, I and the group I currently have over will come to a consensus (but that doesn’t appear to be happening anymore thankfully).

Island will be open from 7pm - 10pm BST tonight (Saturday 11th of July) and from 2pm - 5pm BST tomorrow (Sunday 12th of July) to hopefully include some people with different time zones (as long as there’s prizes still left tomorrow ofc!) 

The games will be held above Cyd and Diana’s house (follow the path to the left when you come out of the airport, over the bridge and up). My island is a work in progress and I don’t get much time to play anymore so it’s not very spectacular yet, sorry!

Additional activities under the cut:

The entire beach to the right of the airport is filled with FREE items of every type! Please take them to help me clear out my storage! (For anyone who attended my storage clear out last weekend, these items will be largely the same so feel free to skip this activity). Also take from my free diy pile and buy ANYTHING you want from the shops!

I have a northern hemisphere island so it’s shark and cicada season! You’re absolutely welcome to hunt bugs, fish and sea creatures. If you want to hunt a particular fish and don’t have any bait, I have some in storage I can provide.

Message board competition!! Draw something AWESOME on my town hall pinboard! I will pick a winner after the event ends for each day, and they will win their choice of either 20 star fragments OR 20 nook mile tickets! If you enter the contest, please either write your tumblr url on your drawing or DM me your in-game name/town so I know who to contact in the event that you win.
