hi lovelies! my name is cupcake (resident representative here), and this is my first tumblr post - the island map plan / design layout / mood board for the island of sweet isle! this visual makes me so inspired to collect the items i need for the island...but how i will find all these items... is the challenge!
I have never drawn. Neither on paper nor digitally. But I've admired these selfmade maps for a long time and I really wanted one. So I just tried it 😊
It took me almost four days to do it, professionals can probably do it in a few hours 😅
I only drew the map itself, for the details I took screenshots in the game and added them onto the map. The museum, town hall, Nook's Cranny and Able Sisters are images from the AC Wiki.
The small designs, i.e. the road, the stones and the flag, are the original ones that I also use on my island ingame 😊 They're my own designs.
Here's a little comparison between Foxgrove's final map and Ilum's first map !
As you can see, Lyman and Pashmina are my first villagers and I am soooooo happy !!! (Really wanted this green bean). My native fruits are oranges and my native flowers are roses ! My airport is still yellow, but I don't mind !

Who would have thought that demolishing things would be so time consuming? Either way, I can’t wait to start working on my island! I think I’m gonna do a city theme with this one. 😊
