Things I’d like to see in ACNH updates
More items (obviously) but not just event/premium/subscription stuff, things everyone can enjoy because let’s be honest, base game items (not including colour variations) are pretty thin on the ground
More items you/villagers can interact with — dip in the hot springs anyone?? 😀
To be able to give one of your custom designs to a specific villager (sometimes you don’t want everyone to be able to wear it)
The option to move the Resident Services building for those of us with OCD over symmetry and want it to line up with the entrance from the airport 😩
To be able to add things to a basket in the Able Sisters fitting room (sometimes I want all the colours but can only wear one at a time!!)
Bushes, or at least some kind of hedge fence? Preferably with flowers you can customise the colours of 😊🌺
Different placement options for wearing flowers (hair, lapel, wrist...)
The ability to sit down on the ground like the villagers can
Maybe even the ability to lay on your stomach with your chin propped up in your hands? 🥰
Toggle on/off option for natural edges to custom paths in Island Designer
A way to invite a villager over to your house (not where they ping you and ask to come over right this second, that’s just annoying)
Maybe even the ability to arrange little get togethers with 2 or 3 villagers — not necessarily just at your house, could be a picnic, a trip to the museum, or just a stroll around the island as a group
More variety in the things villagers can say to you (seriously, the conversation repertoire got old on like day 1)
More villager quests/mini games/challenges/variation in the Nook Miles + tasks
A separate storage space for crafting materials!!! (I have a 5 room house now and I’m STILL having to bargain with myself over whether crafting materials or clothes get priority... my island is a MESS as a result 😩)
Less difficulty getting hold of the other fruits and basic colours of flowers — I must have gone to a hundred mystery islands now (not literally but close to) and all I’ve seen are pears (my island is peaches) tulips (my native) and windflowers (can get in my shop)
More plants!
The ability to water indoor plants on floor and table level (no reason, would just be cute 🥺)
More pro design templates!!! I don’t want to have to choose between a dress with long sleeves OR long skirt, and the option to do swimsuits and bottoms so you can mix and match custom outfit elements would be AMAZING
More consumables (ice cream, coffee, sweets... omg imagine if you could craft a cake or a pizza and share it in pieces with friends/villagers)
Brewster!!! But not running just a coffee shop this time — I think it’s time he expanded and hired someone to provide baked goods too!
I wish the campsite visitor could come out of their tent and actually experience/interact with the island/villagers 😔
Swimming!! I miss diving for creatures and meeting Pascal bobbing around
But also it’d be super fun if we could put special items on the water like furniture, such as lilos, rubber rings, a bouncy castle or inflatable island..!!
Some kind of secret hidden area you have to find/do things to unlock, like sea cave/grotto you can only enter from the mysterious rocky back end of the island and occasionally gets a special visitor... 🧜🏻♀️
Okay y’all but I had a dream last night that I used a nook miles ticket aiming for tarantula/scorpion island but when I got there it was just a tiny island with a building on it. I went inside bc I was mad curious and it was BREWSTER. The cafe was so cute and when I spoke to him this is what he said;
“You’re a new face... we don’t get a lot of customers around here.. i wonder why, coo...”
And then some other dialogue I can’t remember, but you have to do a mini game where he tells you the recipe of a coffee and you have to tell him the villager who likes that one. Do it five times and he’ll remark that you’ve gotten to know a lot of people and that maybe you know a better place for business. That’s when you can recommend your island! ALSO there was BAKED GOODS behind a glass container and you could buy them and eat them!! Sometimes your villagers will crave one but not have enough bells and you can buy one for them 🥺😔🏳️
Definitely one of the better dreams I’ve had lately— I hope Brewster is introduced soon!
my grumpy man looks so CUTE!!!!
Can't wait to see the upcoming Animal Crossing direct! The game having it's own conference is promising, even if Brewster alone feels like a massive update
