hi! with the new hello amiibo, is it still possible to powersave villagers? is there a way to cycle through them to save them all? i find that the old cyclingmethods dont seem to work anymore.i hope you can help :)
Hey! I had an issue reloading old powersaves from before the update (as each time on loading you are required to go through that train scene with Isabelle explaining about MEOW coupons etc) and it then, at least for me, reset the game date. So I ended up just deleting old powersaves and restarting.
But no there isn’t any overall problems now, powersaving villagers should work the same. The only difference I’ve found is the difference in cycling villagers out: villagers now announce they are leaving up to (I think) 10 days before moving whereas before it was 5 days, there doesn’t seem to be much of a pattern in moving dates, moving in dates or anything anymore. Before there was a pattern to when villagers asked to leave, how long after departure til a new villager arrived, how long then til someone asked to move etc but now there doesn’t seem to be a pattern however I could have just not noticed it..
But the process of powersaving villagers and reloading old powersaves and giving out said villagers all should work the same I believe, at least for me it does.
As for cycling methods I’m not sure of a quick way as, like I said,I haven’t noticed a pattern in moving in or out dates etc anymore so I can’t share any methods I use haha as I just play each day and check if anyone wants to move. I haven’t been as active in the acnl community lately so I’m not sure if anybody has devised a method or anything to cycling so all I can suggest is searching around game forums etc. If you or anyone else knows a quicker cycling method that works after the update let me know!
If you have any follow-up questions don’t be afraid to ask!
