I know you thought I was a child, even when you said I wasn't. I don't blame you, though. You've lived much longer than me. I wasn't even created a year ago, so it makes sense. I just didn't think . . .
I didn't think you'd disappear on me. I did, I guess, but I was hoping you wouldn't. You still had so much to teach me and there was still a whole lot of fun we could have had.
You said it would be better if you went, but I always thought you meant for yourself, to find those things you lost. I would have come with you. They can't keep me in this castle forever, you know. It would have been an adventure.
It's just . . . I've never lost anyone before, especially not a teacher. But thinking about it, I guess you have to lose a teacher to do things on your own, but it's scary. I feel like I won't be able to do anything on my own, even though we both know I know how.
Thanks for the letter at least. I wish we could have talked one last time, one last time before going our separate ways.
We won't ever see each other again will we? You wouldn't let me, I'm sure. That's alright. Maybe someday I'll understand why, but I guess you think it's for the best.
