Why We Love It:
Roswell New Mexico doesn’t just have a beautiful cast, and sprawling landscapes. It has an incredible cinematography, and this series of mood boards emphasizes those small but brilliant details that the show creates so well. The creator brings together a board of haunting aesthetics, that strike a cord of emotions and beauty without relying on any one character. It also highlights the color palette of the show, one that is unique and very memorable. We are excited to see what the mood boards for the future episodes look like!
I just want to tell you that reading your Forlex fic is the first piece of RNM content I've consumed in over 2 days (after some of Millie's Forlex gifs) and I want to thank you for it. I'm not sure if I can ever really be part of this fandom again - there's too much content I know will trigger me - but your writing is still so uplifting and sweet and such a balm, so thank you Alyssa. BTW, just typing this made me cry. Cause that's where I'm at, lol.

I can let you know that everything forlex I write (I'm writing one right now where Alex dyes Forrest's hair) will be total fluff so if you want me to just send you the fluffy forlex stuff of Alex being all loved up, I can! this is the third drabble for the same prompt though different characters! i hope you enjoy it! thanks for prompting me!
“Here, drink up, you need it,” Alex says after a sparring session, tossing a capped bottle toward Isobel, who catches it mid-air with a swift movement.
“If I were you, I’d wear light blue, it suits you,” Isobel recommends, and Alex picks his nicest blue shirt for his weekly night date with Michael.
“I’m too tired to drive back home, can I stay?” Alex asks innocently, feigning a yawn, on the evenings when Isobel’s having trouble keeping her feelings in check.
“Let me walk Buffy, I miss her,” Isobel offers on the days when Alex’s physical pain reaches unbearable peaks.

Isobel & Kyle + B!
B. Under cover of darkness - thanks for the ask!!!
Kyle pulls his jacket closer around him and swears for what feels like the hundredth time today.
“Isobel. Where are you taking me?” He asks her as she drags him further and further into the desert.
“You’ll see.” Isobel sing songs as she keeps walking at a ridiculously fast pace. Kyle is in shape, but Isobel is all legs, and if he wasn’t so cold, he’d be insanely impressed.
“If you’re taking me out into the desert at night to murder me there are definitely closer places.” Kyle quips and there’s just enough moonlight that he can see her scowl as she turns around.
“Too soon?” Kyle asks sheepishly as Isobel stops suddenly in front of a cave. He watches as she concentrates as she moves the makeshift wooden door with her newly discovered telekinesis and even he can admit that it’s a turn on.
“C’mon.” Isobel says as she grabs his hand. He immediately feels her warmth as it sinks into his cold hands. He’s about to ask what they’re doing in a cave when he sees them. Their pods.
“Oh Isobel.” Kyle says quietly as he walks up to the purple glowing pod in middle. Even though he’s known about aliens, and about Isobel and her brothers for over a year, he’s never seen the pods. There was always something stopping him from coming out here. Now he knows, he was meant to see them with Isobel.
“I wanted...I wanted to show you.” Isobel whispers as she steps into Kyle’s personal space, the heat from the pods and from Isobel keeping him warm. They’ve been dancing around each other for months now, and he finds that he can’t think of another reason to not do what he wants.
He leans up and kisses her. He pulls away and Isobel makes a protesting noise but smiles against his lips. He smiles back and pulls her flush against him.
“You’re beautiful.” Kyle says as he brings a hand up to her cheek. Even under the cover of darkness he can see her blush, the pods bathing them in a subtle low light.
“I think the pods have you confused.”
“They don’t.”
“Kyle.”
“Isobel.” He mimicks and she laughs.
“I’m not an easy person to love.” She whispers.
“I think you’re perfectly - ”
“Don’t.” She cuts him off with a glare and now it’s his turn to laugh. Isobel laughs with him and she leans down to kiss him again.
He settles into the kiss, swirling his tongue with hers, turned on and wanting nothing more than to keep kissing her but she pulls back and leans her forehead against his.
“You’re the first person I’ve brought out here.”’
“Really?” Kyle asks, even though he knows that the others have only seen the pods out of necessity.
“Yeah.” Isobel says and kisses him again.
“Why?”
“I know that you know so much about us. You probably know more than we do -”
“Is- ”
She looks him in the eye and Kyle’s breath catches when he registers the look on her face.
“Someone once told me it’s time we tell the truth to the people we love.”

Maria looks defiant as she unties her ridiculous top. Isobel takes in bare skin as it falls to the ground, waiting for Maria’s permission to touch.
She’s beautiful, painted by moonlight, bra joining her shirt, revealing full breasts that Isobel just wants to kiss.
The long, flowing skirt follows, revealing shapely legs. And, finally, her underwear hits the ground.
Maria’s chin tilts upward, like she’s expecting anything but the words that escape Isobel’s mouth. “You’re beautiful.”
A smile breaks across Maria’s face and she moves toward Isobel, reaching for her dress zipper as she finally presses her mouth against Isobel’s.
