People on ticktock who read and like acotar are delusional like they excuse when rhysand SAs feyre and locking nesta in the house of wind (which has a thousand steps down to the front door and nesta doesn't have wings to fly to the balcony they all use)and go on to day she wasn't locked up (she basically was) he also threatens to kill nesta because she told feyre she was going to die because of her pregnancy and rhysand feyres husband (feyre forgave the man who SA her and rhe proceeds to marry him or whatever they did)didn't tell her like......what

Rhysand also rules over land (or Idk what its called )where he only basically rules over one city and the rest is full of misogynist men who where women have no rights and there are loads of victims

And the inner circle is just so entitled like do they have any manners where in the highlords meeting they are basically making sure they get there way

I say there are probably more shit I have forgotten because I have touched the books in a while .

But oh who am I to judge how weird the booktok community has gotten because this most of the people who recommend a court of thorns and roses series

The entirety of the ACOTAR fandom is honestly built on lies and misinterpretation because we're constantly fed Feyre's POV on things so we tend to interpret it the way she does too. So when a character like Nesta or Tamlin do something Feyre thinks is wrong, the readers end up agreeing because it's all the know. They don't bother looking into certain things within the story and just trust what Feyre tells us.

I also find it genuinely scary how Rhysand has convinced everyone including the reader how much much of a good person he is despite his actions being the complete opposite of what he claims to be.

There is a clear lack of consistency in this story that isn't even hard to miss but since people are so invested in the hot faeries they tend to over look the important things such as the obvious hypocrisy.

And lets say these characters are meant to be flawed and morally grey, they're still never portrayed as that. I like the idea of super villain Rhysand, and it's an entertaining storyline to me which is why I don't hate him but do partake in Rhys slander, the problem with him is despite the guy acting like an asshole the author puts him in a pedestal where he's the nicest sweetest person in the whole series despite the existence of Lucien.

The series needs a lot of rewriting tbh

I hate how die-hard fans of A/COTAR have this mindset that "Oh since the author says this character is good then they must be good even though their actions say otherwise."

It's a stupid idea that the author can do no wrong and isn't problematic in the slightest, just because they wrote the book doesn't mean we can't critique it for its obvious bad plot and insane amount of loop-holes

Feyre's Paintings

One of the many things that bug me about ACOTAR is how SJM describes painting Because if we're being honest 98% of the time we literally eyeball this shit. And to add to that, I miss back when F/eyre actually painted something, like in book one I would love to see that painting of T/amlin and L/ucien as faery pigs, instead of whatever the fuck SJM is describing.
