I do think it’s pretty great that this game features Apple, Bluebear (whose catchphrase is “peach”), Cheri, and Cherry, but I think they should have gone even further with the theming. I know Tangy exists, and looks like an orange, but she isn’t in THIS game. And who is the pear? Or the coconut? The mango? I demand a durian-themed animal! Gimme someone spiky and smelly!

I didn’t need to crop any of the memory screenshots that I took, so here they are in their fully vertical glory.

The story was a tale as old as time: Apple asked her mirror who was the greatest pop star, Broccolo was hiding behind it and said it was him, he stepped out to reveal the joke, Apple told him to stop talking so that she could hear the mirror, Broccolo told Apple that she should put on a concert if she wanted to outdo him as a pop star, and she did so. This is story happy end!
