So this is one of the weirder aspects of the new update: a little animation of your RV driving from point to point when you level up your friendship with an animal. In this case, you can see that I am one milestone away from Ava asking me to ask Cyrus to build a giant egg.

This is incredibly surreal to me.

Ava’s talking about my patchwork ghost coach, which is now at max level and therefore has a hat. She was afraid that it was actually a ghost, apparently, which is an odd thing to fear when it comes to furniture crafted by Cyrus. Perhaps she thinks Cyrus can put ghosts into his work? He can’t, though. Trust me. He can’t. I asked him. I wanted a toaster that could shoot ghosts, and he said to me, “I can’t do that.”

This seems like Ava’s just asking for trouble! I mean, I know it can be tempting to pile on the books and just set up a gigantic queue, but it’s gonna go bad! You’re gonna either get through ‘em all a lot faster than you thought you would, or you’re gonna wind up full of regret about all these unread books that are just sitting there, waiting for you!

I, for one, am actually quite glad she isn’t a bird watcher. It would just raise too many questions.
