I picked the “auto-select” option and the game assigned me Goose without confirming it, so I guess I got to see what Jocks say when they become your campsite manager.

As soon as I could, I switched to Francine. She probably isn’t my favorite animal, but she’s probably my favorite of the ones currently in the game. I just love her haughty attitude while she’s constantly wearing polka-dot pajamas. It’s very funny to me.

I spent Leaf Tickets buying that crown, because I decided long ago that the only thing I’d replace Soybean’s crown with would be another crown. Unfortunately, the new crown doesn’t look good. Still, I like it on Francine, who is also wearing an HHA blazer.

I want to make her wear pants, like Roscoe does in the loading screens, but I don’t think I have that ability.

Anyway, Francine won’t fill camper requests. I can’t figure out why, but hopefully she’ll start soon.

I feel like this is the kind of really, really dumb dialogue that occurs when characters just sort of cut and paste their dialogue together from various lists. Nobody’s jealous of your “old phone,” Goose. Nobody ever will be, either, and as time goes by the very idea becomes even more absurd.

A Snooty and a Jock villager talking about the game’s first anniversary. Everybody puts the anniversary in the context of Isabelle talking to them about it, suggesting that everybody talks to Isabelle all the time. While I like Isabelle as much as the next guy (Well, I probably like her more than the average citizen because most people probably don’t play Animal Crossing, but I certainly like her less than SOME folks, and I won’t give any explanation for what I mean by that), I don’t go out of my way to talk to her as often as these folks seem to.
