Honestly Lobo is the purest bean
I took this screenshot a few weeks ago and never posted it, but I really like it. This game has some folks working for it who are pretty good at designing scenic vistas. This is just kinda neat!
I don’t love those dang anime-eye glasses, though. Those are annoying and uncreative. I’d rather the game just let you set your eyes to be like that. There is no reason why they can’t add new character customization options like new eyes and hairstyles, but, in over 18 months of Pocket Camp being out, they haven’t done it.
I don’t love that it worked out this way, but here’s the seventh, and last, animal I got to talk to me about the Winter Solstice. Well, the seventh, and last, animal personality type, at least.
Lobo lives a simple life where he sleeps when the sun goes down, presumably because he does not believe in artificial lighting or working hard all year long. So, for half the year, he probably sleeps for more than twelve hours a day, and then he does the opposite of that for the other half of the year. It’s an enviable life, if you ask me.
I GET IT. YOU’RE OLD.
I constantly struggle with the “at least they’re having fun” concept. Part of being extremely, extremely old, like Lobo and I are, is accepting that your time for fun is COMPLETELY OVER FOREVER and that now you just have to live in a world where other, younger people are having fun, and there’s nothing that you can do about it. If you try, you’ll just be that angry old person shaking your fist at the clouds or whatever.
Diva is the last animal to talk about the Winter Solstice (that I’m going to post), but it seemed uncool to just have that as a post, so I threw in Lobo talking about reading a book.
I don’t think I’ve read very many book series that had over twenty books. I can only think of a couple, and only one (the Discworld series) that I’d actually recommend to anybody.
There are some kids’ book series that went that long, right? Like maybe Goosebumps? Or Animorphs?... The Hardy Boys?
I have not read more than twenty of any of them (or even one of some of them), but there’s probably a bunch out there! Maybe Lobo’s readin’ Nancy Drew! Don’t judge!
I used to see a lot of posts featuring both Wolfgang and Lobo, commenting on how there are two cranky wolves with similar features. I thought it was kind of clever at first, then just got more and more bored with the joke as I heard it endlessly.
Still, I suppose that’s what I’m about to do here, because I saw this interaction and all I could think was, “Damn, these two really are alike after all.” They even have fur color that fades from dark to light on their paws, tails, and the spiky bits on the backs of their heads. I assume that they have spiky skulls, and that that’s not just hair tufts, because otherwise the coloration doesn’t make a lot of sense, now, does it?
Lobo likes to unwind by listening to a big loud clock. I’m not completely sure I agree, but I can somewhat relate. I like keeping clocks around in my house for the relaxing ticking sound, but the loud ringing sound of clocks going off on the hour aren’t particularly soothing to me.
