Look, I’m just glad I’m still able to keep both of these ladies in my campsite without it throwing off my grinding for essences. There’s only five animals I have to level up, so I can keep three around who are already level 20. No big deal! And they’re both enjoying the clock tower. Just hangin’ out at 8:07 PM. I can tell what time it is through subtle context clues in the background of the image.
Lobo likes to unwind by listening to a big loud clock. I’m not completely sure I agree, but I can somewhat relate. I like keeping clocks around in my house for the relaxing ticking sound, but the loud ringing sound of clocks going off on the hour aren’t particularly soothing to me.
Around sunset, Egbert told me all about his troubles with waking up in the morning. I guess it’s relevant regardless of the time of day, but I also don’t really have any advice for him. Personally, I just started forcing myself up each day, and the only way I can keep it up is to make it a habit that I never, ever break. The only times in the last seven years that I’ve slept in have been when I was in a different time zone and had to change my schedule to accommodate the locale. I also never use a snooze button. It’s just asking for trouble.

It’s so tall that it towers above the scaffolding that Cyrus sets up when he’s building it. It’s so tall that you can’t see all of it on your screen at once. It gets even taller when fully-upgraded! It’s just crazy tall! It’s entirely possible that this is the tallest amenity yet, though I haven’t really worked super hard to confirm that.
Francine enjoying the upgraded clock tower. She sometimes gets so absorbed in her shopping, especially during big sales, that she blocks out all outside sound. Even her giant ears can’t help her, though it’s possible that her weird form-fitting hood dampens her hearing, too.
The first animal to comment on my new clock tower was Phoebe, who was impressed that there could be mechanical devices that run reliably and overnight. Like the phone I’m using to play this game, for example. It even wakes me up in the morning, like Phoebe’s alarm, which probably also features a clock that runs 24 hours a day.
