First Post!! I am so excited to have my camp all ready for Spring! The tulips make me super happy because they are beautiful and remind me of the Netherlands.
Boone wanted me to build this sandbag, and I’ve had a lot of fun watching other villagers use it. Penelope’s arms are too short for her to actually reach it, so she swings her tiny fists and sweat drops fly off of her head and the bag swings even though she never touches it. Our anteater friends are actually able to hit it, which is the first nice thing I’ve ever been able to say about them (”They are able to perform a certain animation”). As for Boone himself, his tiny crown makes him look a bit like King Hippo, and the gigantic boxing gloves are a nice touch. He looks like he’s gonna rip that thing right off of its chain.
I always wanted a sandbag like this growing up, but it just wasn’t meant to be! I’m glad I’m able to provide one for my campers.
I got this ribbit puddle that Penelope’s looking into as a random daily fortune cookie prize, and while I kind of like it, and I certainly like any item that gives a unique animation, it is a little disappointing that it doesn’t play nicely with the giant rainbow that I also got as a random daily fortune cookie prize. I could spin it around and move it to make it actually look like it’s reflecting the rainbow, but I won’t. It’s just going to look like a very badly done reflection.
Penelope’s bio in the contacts list says that the anonymous writer hopes that she has bow-shaped ears because the alternative is too “disturbing” to contemplate.
I’ve been seeing art of Penelope for years showing her removing the bow and showing that she has an egg-shaped head without ears. I’ve honestly just thought this whole time that she was a mouse without ears! Maybe she lost them in a threshing accident or something. Who am I to judge? I once met a man who lost all four fingers on one hand, and he just kept on truckin’ and lived his life just fine. There’s no shame in losing some body parts in this life. And there’s no shame in wearing a big pink bow, either!
Penelope once had a hard time leaving her house, which is pretty tragic. It happens, I guess. It’s a thing. It’s clearly unrelated to everything.
The elegant amenities didn’t have reactions like this for a long time, so I didn’t get these kind of posts out of them when they were first available. Anyway, that’s why Penelope here is talking about the Elegant Fountain. She wants somebody to take her picture, which I guess is what I did!
Because of the way I now get three silver treats each day, I’ve been giving them away a lot more often. I waited until I had, like, fifty of ‘em, then started passing ‘em out as quickly as I got ‘em. Right now, Penelope, Cube, and Boone are the only three animals below level 21, so they’re the daily recipients right now!
Also, another disturbing upfur shot of Vesta back there! It’s like she’s wearing a bunch of petticoats, and we’re lookin’ right up there at her!
I found Penelope’s book for her, so now she can see what it’s all about. My guess is that it’s about finding her power animal, but maybe there’s a major twist involved. I guess I’ll never know.
