Ah, oh, God, this is too real. There aren’t many purchases I’ve made in my life that I truly regret, but nearly all of them are ones I made because they were limited-time-only. I’m talking stuff like limited-run physical editions of games, or one-day-only sales at big stores, or souvenirs from places I know I’ll never visit again. Those are the things that, a year or two later, I look at and think “This sure does take up space and money I could have used on something else.”
So I guess my advice to Robin would be not to buy either, but I guess that if I were actually in her position, I’d probably try to buy both, too.
I honestly thought that was why they sold for 2,000 bells. Are these, just, like, oysters that COULD make pearls, but haven’t yet? Oyster shells made entirely out of... pearl, I guess? Nacre?
Robin, a snooty villager, playing around at the locomotive station. Since the train never seems to really leave, there’s no risk of her being stood up at the station by her love. Also, nobody in this game seems to have any romantic relationships. At least, none that they talk about.
