do you get asks: on very seldom occasion. which is sad. because aside from prompts I can’t seem to answer with any sort of regularity, I *do* answer asks!
amount of sleep: I’m averaging around 4.5 right now
what are you wearing: an old blouse that hasn’t fit in a while that really made me smile when I saw it in the mirror this morning. :) (and the rest of an outfit - a girl’s gotta avoid an HR violation, ya know.
dream job: Up until a few days ago, I’d have said writer. But then I realized how stressed out I’d get when I went through a period of low-inspiration. Can I make a caveat that, if I am a hypothetical writer, I also sip from a never-ending font of motivation and inspiration?
dream trip: I could never choose just one. Unless they put “space” on the menu for regular folks.
instruments: the only one I play very well is flute; I’m just dangerous enough to have fun on piano and guitar; I can passably play the piccolo, and could hold my own in beginner band on the oboe, if I really had to...
languages: English and a hazy recollection of ASL that is more muscle memory than actual competency
10 favourite songs as of now: this is just a thing I don’t do - because I love way too much music and I only have 3 settings: “ooh, this is my favorite”, “meh”, and “off, please... off.”
if you were an animal: I... what? Like, how do you even choose? I don’t know... something mostly solitary?
favourite food: again, couldn’t choose. Do people really have a “go to” on stuff like food and music?
random fact: my eyes, like my father’s, are becoming lighter with age - when I was very young they were my mother’s dark brown, but they’re about half brown and half green now and the brown is much lighter; my father’s eyes went from very clear blue to grey. This shift happens in 10-15% of Caucasian folks due to a genetic variant.
my aesthetic: I have never fully understood the concept of this - I mean, is it things I like, how my tumblr looks, things that appeal to my eye? Please... someone who understands this explain it to me?
