(I didn't plan on it but after reading comments and suggestions I do end up changing some aspects of the final game sometimes... so only time will tell ;) )

Hellooo, I just finished the demo and I must say, I LOVE THIS GAME!! The ambience is so calming, the characters are relatable, and hey that hunky satyr is pretty handsome too(ifykyk) I can't WAIT for the full release, definitely will be playing this game over and over again!

Also, I just wanted to ask, around what time do you think the game's gonna be fully released?

At this time, ACS unfortunately does not have a release date. It's sort of a it'll be done when it's done kind of situation since gamedeving is not my main priority right now.

I've answered this question a few times in previous asks if you'd like a more in-depth response, but I hope you understand and I'm very thankful for everyone's patience regarding the game!

"A Cottage Story" is my second favorite itch.io game but honestly who cares about the first? We're throwing you to first place!!!!! Can't wait for those 15 chapters (kinda scary tbh) but don't push it, can't wait

Wow so honored <3 I really appreciate the patience and after all this time since the demo came out it's your favorite! (Even if you discovered it only recently) I think about A Cottage Story everyday, and if anyone is wondering when it'll be done it's kind of a it'll be done when it's done kind of situation atm :')

I plan to post an update once I unwrite myself from a particular chapter but when that happens, development will be rolling more smoothly. Thanks again for checking out the game!

Omg, hi! I just finished act two and I have to say I've really enjoyed it! Honestly, scrolling for something to do and stumbling upon this might be a great stroke of luck! I've been having a hard time lately, coming to terms with being aromantic (still enjoy romance/dating Sims tho) and general uni struggles, and this has helped me just find a little bright spot in my life. I can't wait to continue, really thanks.

Aw I'm so happy A Cottage Story could be that experience for you! I actually wrote this story initially to escape uni struggles so I feel you on that haha :')

I've noticed it's picking up again which only motivates me to finish the last couple of chapters. I hope you can wait a little bit longer! Hopefully it'll be out by the time spring rolls around hehe

hi! i just finished playing the demo n it was just?? so good?? i loved the cottagecore vibes, the fantasy, the hints of mystery n plot behind our mc's origins, n getting to use they/them pronouns was such a nice touch since u don't see it so often in games! the characters r all so cute too, esp the fairy! n quick question, do u think there's a possible way for a poly route? i genuinely can't choose between everyone. but once again, i loved the game!

Dang sorry this is so so late but I figured it was worth responding to since other people have asked about a poly route! The answer is most likely, it's kinda built into the game with how the route "splits" I suppose. I'll just say it'll likely only to be 2/3 of the love interests and not a poly route involving all of them unless i change my mind?? And thank you for the kind words! Im always overjoyed to hear that people have enjoyed my game!

aaaaa I just played the demo and it's??? so good???? the writing is really immersive, all the characters are really fun, and the art and music are absolutely beautiful!! I would absolutely die for Nim, they're a chaotic disaster and I love them for it
